Guests are shaded from May through September by a composite of shade sails custom-designed for the amphitheater. You need only bring a chair or blanket and any food and non-alcoholic drink items you want, then sit back and enjoy.

On Aug. 21, enjoy the Tommy Thompson Band from 6-9 p.m; Sept. 11, South Shore Brass Band from 6-8 p.m.; and Sept. 18, Misunderstood Band from 6-9 p.m.

The preserve features brick, paved and natural trails up to five miles in length. Playground equipment, picnic shelters and fishing are also available. From the south, take I-65 North to I-94 East to Exit 26-A, southbound. Exit on State Route 49 after approximately two miles. For more information, call 395-5315.
