Community support for The Caring Place

Mark Becker and Gwenn Rinkenberger, The Caring Place Board Members, hosted their annual Becker-Rinkenberger Fall Classic last October at Forest Park Golf Course. The event raised over $1,000 for the Caring Place. The golf outing has been donating to The Caring Place for the past 13 years. Anthony Musenbrock, store manager of the Valparaiso Marshall’s, presented The Caring Place with $5,000 from the TJX Foundation. The Foundation supports organizations that provide services to victims of domestic violence. Pictured are Anthony Musenbrock with Schultz.

The Caring Place is a not-for-profit organization, serving the needs of domestic violence and sexual assault victims in Lake, Porter and Starke counties in Northwest Indiana, but may include victims across the country.
