Kids Closet coming this month

The Porter County chapter of Mothers & More will once again offer the public a chance to buy and sell gently used children's clothing, toys, and gear. The Spring Kids Closet sale will be April 16 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Butterfield Pavilion on the corner of Evans and Calumet in Valparaiso. Admission is $2 per person from 8-10 a.m. After 10 a.m. admission is $1 per person. Anyone less than 18 years of age will be admitted without charge. The sale brings together families in the market for gently used clothing and equipment with people who have such items to sell.

The Kids Closet Sale will be an extensive event with up to 35 tables of children’s items for sale.  Mothers & More will take care of all of the advertising for the event. Individuals reserving a table will set their own prices and keep 100 percent of their own profit.

“We are building on the success of our popular sale held each year,” event chairperson Amanda Brown said. “The selection of clothing and toys just can’t be beat. It really is a phenomenal sale.”

Mothers & More is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. The group addresses mothers’ needs as individuals and members of society, and promotes the value of all the work mothers do. For more information, e-mail infomothersandmore@yahoo.com.
