Chicago radio personality Dave Mitchell will be the keynote speaker at the 10th Annual Chesterton Community Prayer Breakfast, 7:30-9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at the Trinity Hall Banquet Center, 638 N. Calumet Ave., at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

The purpose of the Community Prayer Breakfast is to bring our community together for a time of fellowship and renewal, thanksgiving and prayer, to reflect on the blessings of our common heritage, to strengthen the bonds of our common faith, to seek divine inspiration and guidance for our common endeavors and the challenges we face together as a community of caring women and men.

Mitchell started his career in news and talk radio in 1973 working at Chicago radio stations including WCFL, WXEZ and WSCR. He currently serves as News Anchor/News Director at WMBI and as News Anchor/Reporter at WBBM in Chicago.
