Rick Calinski, Manager of Public Affairs stated, “At NIPSCO we believe in giving back and supporting the youth in our community.  While touring the facility I was amazed at all the activities and energy under one roof.  We were looking to do something special and unique, the new gym floor hit the mark.  NIPSCO is excited about this commitment and our continued partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Porter County.”

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-Forest “Dusty” Rhode Portage Club is located at 5895 Evergreen Ave, Portage, IN and opened in 1996. The Club has a daily average attendance of nearly 250 club members ages 6-18 years old.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has been serving youth for 40 years. The Clubs provide programs for more than 5,000 boys and girls in the areas of character and leadership development, educational enhancement, career preparation, health and life skills, the arts and sports, fitness and recreation.
