Officials at the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) are cautioning Hoosiers about websites unrelated to the BMV that charge a fee to obtain the information and forms for renewing an Indiana driver’s license that the BMV provides for free.
BMV Commissioner R. Scott Waddell reports that the BMV has been contacted by customers about a website that charges $34.96 for assistance in obtaining an Indiana driver’s license. He encouraged customers to call the BMV Customer Contact Center at 1-888-692-6841 with any questions about a driver’s license renewal website other than myBMV.com.
