Pastel exhibit at Chesterton Art Center

The Chesterton Art Center, 115 S. 4th St., will present the Northern Indiana Pastel Society Members Exhibit through Dec. 31.

The show reception will take place Friday, Nov. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. Terry Ludwig will be the guest judge for the event and will give a demonstration on how to make pastels from accumulated pastel dust.

The Northern Indiana Pastel Society is made up of artists from Indiana, Illinois and Michigan. The group’s purpose is to stimulate interest in pastels as an art medium and to encourage and support members in their artistic and professional growth.
