Small Business Saturday is Nov. 24

Tudor Carpet One Floor and Home is helping to spread the word about Small Business Saturday – a day to support the small businesses that help boost the economy and give back to their local communities.

Small Business Saturday was founded in 2010 by American Express to help small businesses get more exposure during the busy shopping season. Small Business Saturday falls between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, encouraging consumers to find local businesses to support as they do their holiday shopping.

Tudor Carpet One Floor and Home is part of the Carpet One Floor and Home cooperative of flooring retailers. Their membership in a cooperative helps them compete with larger corporations by giving them stronger buying power, business expertise and operation programs; however, each store remains independently owned.

Janice Stump of Tudor Carpet One Floor and Home encourages customers, “Instead of fighting the crowds on Black Friday, find local retailers in the community to support on Small Business Saturday.”
