Town and Country Supermarket of Portage is celebrating the holiday season by offering everyone the opportunity to help less fortunate members of the community by purchasing pre-filled grocery bags.

Donors may purchase bags for either $5 or $10.  The bags will later be delivered to the Portage Township Food Pantry.  The pantry is also grateful to Town and Country for their recent donation of food for its annual volunteer appreciation luncheon.

The pantry has been experiencing a rise in the number of client families who meet federal eligibility guidelines, allowing them to come once during a calendar month to receive a grocery cart filled with food.

The pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first, third, fourth and fifth Fridays of each month as well as from 4 to 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month.

Monetary donations are accepted. Checks made to the Portage Township Food Pantry can be mailed to P.O. Box 1582, Portage, 46368. From android market with easy settings and advanced warnings, trend micro longevity beta is a simple app that lets you extend your smartphone’s battery life
