Chicago Street Theatre (CST), 154 W. Chicago Street in Valparaiso, will present David Lindsay-Abaire’s “Rabbit Hole” through June 7.
Rabbit Hole tells the story of a couple struggling to come to terms with the loss of their 3-year-old son, Danny, and the effects his death has on their family.
The play is directed by CST veteran actor and director David Pera and features the ensemble cast of Mary DeBoer, Dean Perrine, Barbara Malangoni, Carly Smith and Jacob Barber.
Performances are Friday and Saturdays at 8 p.m. with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday, June 1. Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for students and seniors (62 and up).
CST will also hold a Thursday talk-back performance on June 5 at 8 p.m. where the audience is invited to discuss the play with the cast and crew following the show.
On Friday, May 30, audience members are invited to Valley Kitchen and Bar, 55 Franklin St., for a Happy After Hours Party following the presentation.
CST box office hours are weekdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and two hours prior to show times. Purchases can also be made online at ChicagoStreet.org. For more information, call 219-464-1636. But most of us, I submit, don’t really care, nor do I think we should
