Indiana University’s Another Round Concert

Friday, Sept. 19, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Indiana University’s A Cappella group – Another Round – remixes popular songs into vocal-only melodies adding a fun twist to classic and modern favorites. Cost is $25 for non-member adults, $10 for students and children 5-12 years old and free for children 4 years old and under. Taltree member discount available.

Yoga

Saturdays in September, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Students will learn yoga positions to develop flexibility, strength and balance. Cost is $5 for non-members and free for members

Preparing roses for winter

Saturday, Sept. 27, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Learn how to prepare your roses for winter from an experience Rosarian. Learn what to plant in your greenhouses, how to overwinter roses and how to prune to reduce pest damage. Sponsored by the Duneland Rose Society. Indiana Accredited Horticulturist CEUs available. Cost is $17 for non-members and $15 for members.

Haunted Railroad & Fall Festival

Oct. 1-31. This family-friendly event features a haunted Railway Garden all month long. Special kid activities, such as creepy crafts, will be available on Saturdays. Free with general admission. General admission is $10 for adults (13 and older), $8 for seniors (55 and older), $5 for children (5 to 12 years old) and free for children 4 and under. Members are free.

Night Hike

Wednesdays, Sept. 17, Oct. 1, 8, 15, 8 to 9 p.m. Come see nature at night. These night hikes are a great way to see the stars and learn about elusive nocturnal wildlife. Art in Nature – Oil Painting

Sunday, Oct. 5, 1 to 4 p.m. Learn how to use oil paints with the natural landscape of Heron Pond and Heron Trail as your inspiration. All supplies are included in the cost. Cost is $55 for non-members and $50 for members.

Saturday, Oct. 11, 12 to 1:30 p.m. Surround yourself in fall color. See how fall color affects the woodland, wetland and prairie landscapes. Led by a trained naturalist. Free with general admission.
