Revamped, renewed and ready to make waves, the 2015 Michigan City In-Water Boat Show will hit Michigan’s shore on Aug. 6-9 for another spectacular year of boating and summer fun.

You are invited on board for a four day boating event that will provide you with a weekend of family fun, the best sales of the season, and activities for all.  Exhibitors will be displaying boating equipment, marine accessories and summer essentials in one convenient location making your summer shopping quick and enjoyable while allowing you to discover the latest in boating. Local and regional dealers will be on hand at the marina to assist you and all guests are encouraged to climb onboard and compare the features and benefits of the latest pontoon boats, jet boats, cruisers and more.

After a day of shopping and browsing a vast array of the newest accessories, powerboats and personal watercraft of all shapes and sizes you can venture over to the party barge, catch some shade and enjoy a beverage or two while still leaving plenty of time for you to explore other various features.

This year will be a unique set of attractions friendly for all ages and even some heart pumping action for thrill seekers. Ever wanted to walk on water? Then head over to the Water Rollers and try your hand in a clear inflatable bubble, pop into one of several seminars to learn a few tips and tricks for your next boating adventure.  Visit a virtual trainer for a chance to get behind the wheel and navigate through real life water scenarios and even have your picture taken with a real life mermaid, yes a real life mermaid. No matter what you choose, don’t forget to check out the main feature Rail jam, a wake boarding performance that will have excitement riding high as nationally known riders compete against each other in air defying tricks. This sensational wakeboarding experience will have water sports enthusiasts’ revving their engines as riders fly through the air performing stunts and tricks that will leave you astonished.

So get ready to ride the wave and get carried away at this year 2015 Michigan City In-Water Boat Show for a weekend filled with boating, entertainment and excitement for the whole family.

The show will be held at the Washington Park Marina. Admission to the boat show is $10 for adults, free for children 12 and under and $8 for adults 60+.

LaPorte County residents will receive free admission Thurs., August, 6. During event hours air-conditioned shuttles will run from nearby lots to the entrance of the show.
