Vote for your favorite to become the 2016 ICS Sweetheart.  Submit your votes ($1 = 1 Vote) via PayPal on our Website (www.catsociety.org); by mail to ICS, P.O. Box 735, Westville, IN 46391, or, visit the shelter and meet the Sweethearts (and all their friends) in “purr-son”.   The Teams will be campaigning with some special ways you can vote for a specific Sweetheart, so be sure to watch Facebook for more information.

The finale of this contest is the Sweetheart Day Event to be held on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Valparaiso Moose Lodge, 108 Indiana Avenue, Valparaiso.  Each Sweetheart Team will have a booth with items for sale, and more.  All purchases count as votes for the specific candidate, and the proceeds of this event directly benefit all the cats and kittens of ICS.

The Independent Cat Society is a no-kill cat shelter and, as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), is funded almost entirely through membership fees, adoption fees, fundraising events like the Sweetheart Contest, and the generous tax-deductible gifts of caring individuals, like you. The shelter is operated primarily by volunteers and does not receive any government funding.
