Indiana Beach, Indiana’s Favorite Boardwalk Resort, is officially open. 2016 marks the 90th year of operations for Indiana Beach, now owned by Apex Parks Group.

The famous Indiana boardwalk resort, located along the shores of Lake Shafer, has undergone many internal upgrades and renovations in preparation for the 2016 season. From the front entrance to the campground ferryboat landing, improvements have been made throughout the entire resort.

The Giant Wheel, an iconic Indiana Beach ride, underwent a massive refurbishment complete with the addition of a LED digital lighting package. The park has upped the roller coaster thrill factor to 7 by adding another coaster called the Zero G to the park’s ride landscape. The Zero G is a 5 story tall 360 degrees looping-reversing roller coaster that is sure to excite any coaster enthusiast.

Additionally, coming to the park this summer – Cap’n Crow’s Bumper Boats. These colorful and fun boats will allow guests to cruise the waters searching for others to bump and splash. Each boat is outfitted with a water sprayer that can soak an opponent from 10 feet away. Up to 12 bumper boats at a time will battle each other for a thrilling guest experience.

“We are so excited and can’t wait for our guests to experience all the improvements and additions for the 90th Anniversary season” said John Collins, Indiana Beach Boardwalk Resort General Manager, “We invite everyone to come and experience the “All-New” Indiana Beach.”
