Chesterton European Market

The Chesterton’s European Market is held every Saturday from May 2 to Oct. 28 from 8 a.m.to 2 p.m. at 220 Broadway, next to Thomas Centennial Park. Artists, chefs, merchants and farmers travel from across Indiana, Michigan and Illinois to offer visitors their products and services. Featured are artisan breads and pastries, boutique creamery cheeses, ethnic foods, meats, spices, oils, rare books, clothing, accessories, jewelry and fresh-from-the-farm produce and flowers. Highland Farmer’s Market

Marking its 20th anniversary, the Highland Farmer’s runs May 26 through Sept, 29, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. It is located in the pavilion directly in front of The Highland Center. Michigan City Farmer’s Market

The Michigan City Farmer’s Market Wednesdays, 4-8 p.m., and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., on the corner of 8th and Washington Streets in Michigan City. The market features locally-grown fruits and vegetables in season as well as craft items, flowers, and herbs. Featured are hanging baskets of flowers, pots of aromatic herbs, homeground fruits and vegetables, and local honeys, butters, and cheeses, along with entertainment. Munster Farmer’s Market

The Munster Parks and Recreation Dept. invites you to the town’s annual Farmer’s Market. This event takes place on Sundays, May 14 to Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year’s market will take place at Centennial Park, 900 N. Valparaiso Farmer’s Market

The Valparaiso Market is held Tuesdays and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., from June 3 to Oct. 21. Featured are fresh produce, plants, flowers, and lunch on the go from one of the food vendors. Tuesdays from June through August will feature live music   The Valparaiso Market is located at Central Park Plaza, 63 Lafayette, near the downtown business district. Hobart Summer Market on the Lake

Come enjoy outdoor shopping featuring fresh produce, baked goods, ethnic and gourmet foods, children’s craft area, jewelry, handmade crafts, a beer garden, and so much more. Hobart Summer Market on the Lake is held Thursdays from 4 to 9 p.m., beginning June 1 and running through Aug. 31 at Festival Park.
