Gary SouthShore RailCats Baseball- Throwback offers, fireworks, BOGO deals part of extended homestand

The Gary SouthShore RailCats will have an additional four-game series from July 26to 28  at U.S. Steel Yard this summer as the Salina (Kansas) Stockade have replaced the Laredo Lemurs in the American Association schedule.

The new series against the Stockade will feature the following game times and promotions:

Wednesday, July 26, 7:10 p.m.Throwback Night, NorthShore Health Centers Wednesday, Kids Run the Bases

The RailCats throw it back to a simpler time – turning down the music and bringing concession prices back in time with $2 hot dogs, $2 popcorn, $2 peanuts, $2 12-oz. domestic drafts, and $2 sodas. Visit NW Indiana NorthShore Health Centers for complimentary tickets to every Wednesday home game. Stick around after the game as all kids will have the chance to run the bases. Tickets start at $6 and parking is free. Gates open at 6 p.m., with the first pitch at 7:10 p.m.

 Thursday, July 27 – Day/Night Doubleheader 1:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. - (Game 1: Opposite Day) (Game 2: Comics Night) Gerber Collision & Glass Thursday, Kids Run the Bases

There’ll be a day/night doubleheader at the Steel Yard. During the first game, it’s Opposite Day. Officials will score the game from the ninth inning to the first inning, players will ask fans for autographs, and the ‘Cats will wear road uniforms. Come back for Game 2 when it’s Comics Night at the ballpark! Do you love cosplay and comicon? Don’t miss your chance to show off your costumes at the ballpark. It’s Gerber Collision & Glass Thursday, so visit NW Indiana Gerber Collision and Glass locations for complimentary ticket vouchers. Stick around after the game as all kids will have the chance to run the bases.

Friday, July 28, 7:10 p.m.Fast & Furious Day, Fifth Third Bank Fireworks Friday

Experience RailCats baseball a quarter of a mile at a time – It’s Fast & Furious Day. Make sure you’re here as the sights and sounds of the ballpark pay homage to the blockbuster movie series! Bring the whole family to the Steel Yard with this one-time-only special: four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and a family-size popcorn for only $25. Stick around after the game for the explosive on-field fireworks show, presented by Fifth Third Bank.

The RailCats will offer buy-one, get-one free box tickets for the entire series at the box office or by calling 219-882-2255. On top of that, 12-oz. domestic drafts will be only $2 during all four games.

Would you like to have a party at the Steel Yard? During these four games, the Luxury Suite “Batters Special” package, normally priced at $699, is now on sale for only $525. This package includes 20 tickets, two parking passes, hot dogs, polish sausage, hamburgers, popcorn, peanuts, chips, gourmet fresh baked cookies, and assorted soft drinks and water.

Party Decks come with three all-you-can-eat menu options for only $25 per person during this series. Tthis is a savings of $10 per person.) Choose from Backyard BBQ, Mexican Fiesta, or the Little Italy menus and enjoy your meal from when the gates open through the fifth inning. Admission ticket is included. Minimum guest requirement is 35 for all Sunday through Thursday games and 50 for Friday and Saturdays. Maximum capacity is 100 guests.
