Banish cries of “I’m bored!” this summer with Taltree Arboretum & Gardens’ Camp Quercus, 450 West 100 North in Valparaiso.

This exciting, outdoor day camp drives kid’s wild about nature as Taltree’s 330-acre property is transformed into an outdoor classroom and playground. Children ages 6 to 11 are engaged in hands-on activities in each of the themed, one-week camps. Parents may register their children for one week or all.

Indiana Natural History, Wonderful Water, How Does My Garden Grow?, Wilderness Survival, and Inventors’ Workshop. Hikes, art projects, gardening, outdoor games, animal observations a are among the activities planned.

Prices range from $140 per week for members to $150 for non-members, with discounts of up to 25 percent for multi-week registrations. Reduced rates for families with multiple children as well as before and after camp care and scholarships are also available.
