Portage Township Food Pantry wishes to acknowledge the ongoing, generous support of Post 7760, the Portage chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Through monthly donations, the post has donated over $3000 to the pantry over the last three years. It is heartwarming to see that these veterans, who have given so much for the defense of our country, are still giving to help their community.

The pantry board is grateful to the many churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals who continue to support their efforts to aid hungry families in Portage Township. Donations, including home grown vegetables, can be brought into the pantry, on the first, third, and fourth Fridays of each month from 9 a.m. until noon.

The pantry is located in back of the former New Vistas Educational Opportunities Center, 5391 Central Avenue in Portage,
