Enjoy an evening of live entertainment and movies at the Festival Park Revelli Bandshell, 111 E. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart. Every Thursday beginning at 7p.m. and goes to September 3. Portage Summer Music Series

The city of Portage, Portage Chamber of Commerce and Portage Township Live Entertainment are co-sponsoring a series of free summer concerts presented Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. indoors at Woodland Park (WP), 2100 Willowcreek Road, and Sundays from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. outside at Founders Square Park (FSP), 6300 Founders Square, both in Portage.

Valparaiso Summer Rhapsody Music Festival

Chesterton Summer Concert Series  

The Westchester Public Library’s summer concert and family film series will be held at Thomas Centennial Park in downtown Chesterton on Fridays. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m., followed by a family-friendly film at dusk.

Bring the whole family, lawn chairs and a picnic dinner and join your neighbors for an old-fashion concert series featuring a variety of traditional music.  Each program is followed by a movie suitable for family viewing.  In the event of rain, the concerts and films will take place in the Library Service Center, 100 W. Indiana Ave, in Chesterton.

Movies in the Park at Main Square Park,3001 Ridge Rd., Highland.  Movies begin at dusk (usually around 8:30 p.m.)  A concession stand will be available. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket. In the event of unpredictable Weather, the Movie in the Park will be moved indoors to the Lincoln Community Center Fieldhouse. Movies in the Park at Redar Park, Austin Ave., and Gregory St., Schererville. Movies start at dusk; activities run 5:00 to 10:30 p.m. Concessions will be available at the concession stand located in the Redar Park Comfort Station. For more information, visit www.schererville.org
