Chesterton European Market

The Chesterton’s European Market is held every Saturday through Oct. 27 from 8:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m. at 220 Broadway, next to Thomas Centennial Park. Artists, chefs, merchants and farmers travel from across Indiana, Michigan and Illinois to offer visitors their products and services. Featured are artisan breads and pastries, boutique creamery cheeses, ethnic foods, meats, spices, oils, rare books, clothing, accessories, jewelry and fresh-from-the-farm produce and flowers. Highland Farmers Market

The Highland Farmers Market runs Fridays through Oct. 12, from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. It is located in the pavilion directly in front of The Highland Center. On sale are fresh local product, baked goods, and other locally handcrafted items. For more information, visit www.thehighlandcenter.org.

Michigan City Farmers Market

The Michigan City Farmers Market runs Saturdays through Oct. 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on the corner of 8th and Washington Streets in Michigan City. The market features locally-grown fruits and vegetables in season as well as craft items, flowers, and herbs. Featured are hanging baskets of flowers, pots of aromatic herbs, homegrown fruits and vegetables, and local honeys, butters, and cheeses, along with entertainment. Munster Farmer’s Market

The Munster Parks and Recreation Dept. invites you to the town’s annual Farmers Market. This event takes place on Sundays through Oct. 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Centennial Park, 900 N. Valparaiso Farmers Market

The Valparaiso Market is held Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through Oct. 20. Featured are fresh produce, plants, flowers, and lunch on the go from one of the food vendors. Coffee Creek Farmers Market

Porter County’s first producer-only farmers market runs Wednesdays, May 16 through Oct. 17 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve, 178 E. Sidewalk Rd., Chesterton.
