Chesterton Feed & Garden Center’s Pet Rescue Appreciation Day and Brats & Brew Fest was a huge success. Seven different pet rescue organizations attended including Giant Paw Prints Rescue,Bella’s House Animal Rescue,Feline Community Network, Guardians of the Green Mile, Best Buddies Pet Pantry Inc., Begin Again Rescue Co. and Lakeshore PAWS. Almost $1,000 in donations were collected from the Brats, served by Leroy’s Hot Stuff, and over $900 worth of dog and cat food cans were collected, all of which will be split amongst the rescues in attendance.
