S.O.S. – Speaking of Seniors- Agent’s efforts saved woman’s son nearly $2,000

On Nov. 27, 2018, the son of one of our clients brought me good news and copies of documents to prove the good news.

His mother passed away and he was getting bills that he questioned.  His mother lived in Hobart.  When we first met a few weeks earlier, he told me that he thought of me and our insurance agency because he read the articles that I wrote which were used by various publications in the area.

On two medical bill matters, I had helped him save almost $2,000.  I helped question one bill for $1,340.  Medicare agreed with my view of that bill.  It ruled that the hospital could not charge that bill to the patient.  On another bill, I helped the son get a refund of $544 and change.  Add those and it comes to almost $2,000.  I’m still working on some other bills that the son brought for me to review and work.

All the help that I gave the son of our client was free of charge.  This insurance agency is proud of our record for helping clients (and their surviving loved ones) with medical bill problems such as this.

If your insurance agent or agency does not give this high level of customer service, why not switch to an insurance agency that does?
