Towle Youth Theater- Announces the opening of Peter Pan

Towle Theater is excited to announce that opening weekend of Towle Youth Theater Ensemble (or TYTE) production of J.M. Barrie’s 1904 play Peter Pan directed by Ro Ogrentz is fast approaching. This cast comes from all over Northwest Indiana, Illinois, and Chicago. This cast features young actors from as far north as Chicago’s East Side and as far south as Fair Oaks, Indiana. This long-standing program is ensemble based and offers young people the opportunity to not just beina play or musical but be involved in allaspects of the production.

After an exciting rehearsal process, the cast is incredibly excited to share the hard work and magic they have put into this production of Peter Pan. Performances will take place on March 29th, 30th, and 31st and April 5th, 6th and 7th. All Friday and Saturday shows take place at 8 PM and Sunday performances take place at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and are going extremely fast. Call the box office to get your tickets. Whether you are a fan of Captain Hook or are a lost boy yourself, there will be something new and exciting for you in this production.

The cast of Peter Pan is comprised of students from area Junior High and High Schools and several area Home Schools. The cast includes Aidan Boyle (Highland), Derek Diehl (Steger), Sky Feminella (Schererville), Marta Frank (East Chicago), Luke Fugger & Michael Fugger (Lansing, IL),Ariana Kanaya (Schererville), Zach Kettle (Crown Point), Connor & Gavin Khoury (Chicago), Anna & Jimmy Kirsch (Fair Oaks), Aidan McGuire (Mokena, IL), Vanessa Merola (Chicago, IL), Lilly Musgraves (Hammond), Jane Potter (Munster), Karah Sikora (Schererville), Ella Snyder (Hammond), Ava Tomkey (Schererville), Nora Wragg (Lansing, IL) and StudentAssistant DirectorAbby Watts (Hammond).

The production runs March 29-31, April 5-7.  Friday & Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling the Towle Theater box office at 219-937-8780.
