DeLaney McGinley

DeLaney McGinley is one of the Family & Youth Services Bureau’s hard-working Clinical Services members. She received her bachelor’s degree from Lewis University and her master’s degree from Valparaiso University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. DeLaney started as an intern in 2017 and moved to a full-time position as a counselor upon completing her degree. In addition to providing services for youth and families, DeLaney facilitates Anger Management Groups and has an active role implementing many of the other Clinical Services programs.

DeLaney was born and raised in Valparaiso and what she loves most about her job is the opportunity she is given to devote her time to members of the community. “Making a positive impact every day in families’ and youths’ lives is very rewarding,” DeLaney says.

When DeLaney isn’t working she spends time with her family – especially her new nephew and works out. DeLaney’s effervescent personality along with her skilled clinical work is a winning combination that makes her truly valued and appreciated at FYSB.
