Opportunity Enterprises hosted their annual Celebration of Achievement awards breakfast at Aberdeen Manor. The event theme, Lighting the Way, was showcased throughout the event using the symbolic lighthouse graphic and the inspiring stories from clients and supporters who lit the way for their successes.

The awards, presented to individuals with disabilities, volunteers, staff, and a business, in recognition of outstanding achievement were emceed by Lanie Steinwart, OE board member and chair of the Communications Department at Valparaiso University.

“This is one of those events that’s just a feel-good experience every second you’re here,” said OE CEO Ellen DeMartinis. “We’re honoring people who have worked so hard to achieve new goals and successes. It’s not often that our folks get recognized for their talents, skills, and determination to succeed, so today is all about them.”
