Summer roller skating returns to Valpo’s Central Park Plaza

Summer roller skating has returned to downtown Valparaiso. Starting June 10, the Valparaiso Parks Department will be hosting roller skating underneath the William E. Urschel Pavilion at Central Park Plaza.

Roller skating will only be on Mondays throughout the summer season. Admission and skate rental will take place inside the Indiana Beverage Activity Center.

Mondays can become the perfect time to bring friends, family, or even a date over to Central Park Plaza for some exciting summer fun.

Admission for skating is $5. Rental items include $4 skate rental, $3 for helmets, and $2 for lockers. Skate rental and admission will be taken in the Indiana Beverage Activity Center at Central Park Plaza.

Open skate times are Mondays, 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.Skaters should understand that these times are tentative and subject to change due to holidays, weather and/or private parties. Check the calendar page for actual daily times and specials.

Valpo Summer Skates is a partnership between the Valparaiso Family YMCA and Valpo Parks. Central Park Plaza is located at 63 Lafayette St.
