Elvis Fest patrons benefit Porter County Special Olympics

The Kling lives on! The 27th annual Elvis FANtasy Fest will take place the weekend of Oct. 11-13 at the Woodland Park Community Building, 2100 Willowcreek Rd. in Portage.

All net proceeds will benefit Porter County Special Olympics (PCSO). Highlights of the weekend include the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.

Parents of Special Olympians will provide food the entire weekend and will sponsor the Great Elvis Auction and Basket Raffle.Vendors will also be selling Elvis memorabilia throughout the weekend.

Jake Slater, winner of both The contest and the People’s Choice

Headliners this year include Jake Slater, Quentin Flagg, Cote Deonath and Robert Washington.

The program on Sunday includes a brunch, gospel music; Elvis contest finals, a slide show presentation, and march of the Porter County Special Olympians.
