Community Healthcare System welcomes practitioners to MD network

Community Healthcare System recently welcomed several practitioners to the Community Care Network, Inc. (CCNI) team of physicians. Among the specialties these physicians and surgeons represent are colorectal/general surgery, family medicine, internal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology.

The CCNI group of physicians is closely affiliated with Community Healthcare System’s hospitals: Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart and specialty hospital, Community Stroke & Rehabilitation Center in Crown Point.

Omar Abuzeid MD

OB/GYN Omar Abuzeid, MD, completed his residency and internship at Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He is on staff at Community Hospital and is accepting new patients.

Ragini Bielski MD

Internal Medicine Practitioner Ragini Bielski, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. She completed her residency and internship Loyola University Medical Center. She received her medical degree from Rush Medical College, Chicago. She is on staff at St. Mary Medical Center and Community Stroke & Rehabilitation

 

Center. She is accepting new patients.

Katherine Foley MD

Also new to CCNI is general surgeon Katherine Foley, MD, on staff at St. Mary Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Orlando Health in Orlando and her residency through Abington Hospital, Abington, PA. Foley received her medical degree at Ohio State University, Columbus, OH.

Foley sees patients in Hobart at St. Mary Medical Center, 1400 S. Lake Park Ave., Suite 202. She also has an office at the Valparaiso Health Center of St. Mary Medical Center, 3800 St. Mary Dr., Suite 201, Valparaiso.

Dap Kaup MD

Board certified Family Medicine Practitioner Dan P. Kaup, MD, served his residency and internship at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, WA. He received his medical degree at the University of Kansas. He is on staff at St. Mary Medical Center and is accepting new patients.
