Methodist Hospitals to hold Heart Month seminars, screenings

As part of National Heart Month, Methodist Hospitals is offering these programs:

A 20/20 Focus on Heart Health

• Wednesday, Feb. 19, Northlake Campus, Lower Lobby, 600 Grant St., Gary. presented at 5:30 p.m. by Dr. Andre Artis, cardiologist. Blood pressure screenings and CPR begin at 4:00 p.m.

Atrial Fibrillation: Insights into the Most Common Heart Rhythm Disorders

• Tuesday, Feb. 25, Southlake Campus, Pavilion B, 200 East 89th Avenue, Merrillville, presented at 5:00 p.m. by Dr. M. Kamran Aslam, electrophysiologist.  Atrial Fib and blood pressure screenings and CPR begin at 4:00 p.m.

Healthy Night Out with the Girls: Cardiovascular Disease in Women and Prevention Strategies

• Thursday, March 12, Southlake Campus, Pavilion A, 101 East 87th Ave. second floor, Merrillville, presented at 5:00 p.m. by Dr. Jennifer Dochee, structural cardiologist.  Blood pressure screenings, hand massages and express manicures begin at 4:00 p.m. Call 1-888-909-3627 to register for any of these programs.
