Clare B. O’Neill

Methodist Hospitals has appointed two new directors to its leadership team: Clare B. O-Neill as director of system transformation and Duane R. Seaborne as director of surgical services.

O’Neill will guide operational and organizational improvement by identifying underperforming areas and processes and managing the implementation and evaluation of efforts to achieve the hospitals’ strategic goals.

O’Neill came to Methodist from the Sinai Health System in Chicago, where she was director of financial operations for its acute care hospitals.  She earned a degree in economics and business administration from Fordham University.

Duane R. Seaborne

Seaborne joined Methodist Hospitals in March 2020 as director of surgical perioperative services.  He brings to Methodist more than 10 years of operating room experience in a wide range of specialties.

Seaborne came to Methodist from the NeuroDiagnostic Institute in Indianapolis and has managed surgical services at Franciscan Alliance hospitals, Wishard Health Services in Indianapolis and IU Health.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Kent State University and a master’s in nursing administration from Indiana State University.
