Chesterton European Market

The Chesterton’s European Market is held every Saturday from now through October from 8:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m. at 220 Broadway, next to Thomas Centennial Park. Artists, chefs, merchants and farmers travel from across Indiana, Michigan and Illinois to offer visitors their products and services. Featured are artisan breads and pastries, boutique creamery cheeses, ethnic foods, meats, spices, oils, rare books, clothing, accessories, jewelry and fresh-from-the-farm produce and flowers. Highland Street Market

Michigan City Farmers Market

The Michigan City Farmers Market runs Sundays, through Oct. 30, from 8:00 a.m. to noon on the corner of 8th and Washington Streets in Michigan City. The market features locally grown fruits and vegetables in season as well as craft items, flowers, and herbs. Featured are hanging baskets of flowers, pots of aromatic herbs, homegrown fruits and vegetables, and local honeys, butters, and cheeses, along with entertainment. Munster Farmer’s Market

The Munster Parks and Recreation Dept.’s annual Farmers Market takes place on the first and third Sundays, through Sept. 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Lions Club shelter area at Centennial Park, 900 N. Centennial Dr. This market attracts people from all over Munster as well as surrounding communities. Live entertainment will be provided every other Sunday, starting May 20. Valparaiso Farmers Market

The Valparaiso Market is held Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., from now through Oct. 16. Featured are fresh produce, plants, flowers, and lunch on the go from one of the food vendors. Tuesdays from June through August will feature live music.
