Members of the Carpenters Local 1005 were recently on hand at the 3rd annual Hackers-n-Halos Golf Outing held at Youche Country Club in Crown Point, to support the philanthropic work of Halo of Hope, a non-profit organization devoted to positively impacting and improving the lives of children who have cancer through annual camp sponsorships.

“The union members of Local 1005 is extremely proud and humbled to support such a great organization like the Jared Tomich Halo of Hope Foundation. Through solidarity and commitment, our union continually strives to improve the lives of those around us and we can’t think of a better way than supporting this annual golf outing and helping children with their fight against cancer,” said Warden John Hennrich, a delegate with the Carpenters Local 1005.

Carpenters Local 1005 is proud to serve the carpenters and joiners of Northwest Indiana. The United Brotherhood of Carpenters is North America’s largest building-trades union, with more than half a million members in the construction and wood-products industries.
