Portage High School Art Show 2012

The annual Portage High School (PHS) Art Show opened to the public on May 16 and ran through May 25. Each of the six art teachers selected 50 pieces from the works doxycycline kitten dose doxycycline for acne mayo clinic students created this year. 

Opening night included a lovely array of finger foods and punch.  A large crowd was there to see the artwork and the awards ceremony.   First-, second-, and third- place awards were selected in 11 different media.

Digital Photography: 1st – Gabby Rodriquez, The Colors Beyond; 2nd – Lindsey Cunnigham, Reflection.
Graphic Arts: 1st – Adam Gallogos, Art Show Poster; 2nd – Charity Nelson, Drug Free Owl Be; 3rd – David Gonzales, Bullying is Bad.
Ceramic: 1st – Katelyn Lindsey, Steam; 2nd – Jessica Rico, Blue Butterfly; 3rd – Kayla Mahaffey, The Climb.

Jewelry: 1st – Marie Hallman, Eiffel Cut; 2nd – Amber Jackson, Knives; 3rd – Jordan Simmons, Circle of Life.
Printmaking: 1st -Az’a Braner, Frostland; 2nd – Kayla Mahaffey, Vased in Gold; 3rd – Trinitie Oetman, Galloping Zebras.
