Chesterton 5K run/walk to benefit Hannah’s Hope

The MOMentum 5K run/walk will be held Saturday, May 13 at the Coffee Creek Watershed, 178 E. Sidewalk Rd. in Chesterton. The event begins at 9 a.m., with registration opening at 7:30 a.m.

The race is a benefit for Hannah’s Hope, a non-profit organization that aims at assisting children with special needs obtain various therapies and costly medical equipment that is needed.

The MOMentum includes a 5K run/walk, one-mile kids’ fun run, and one-mile moms’ stroller run/walk, all beginning at 9 a.m.

Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers. The event also features music, vendors, raffle, photographer, bounce house, face painting, and balloon artist.

Online registration ends May 12 at 4 p.m. Those to register before April 3 will receive a zip jacket. Online registration is $30; race-day registration is $35.
