On Nov. 4 and Nov. 20, I helped a senior citizen client who lives in Lowell.
I helped her with two medical bill problems on Nov. 4 and three medical bill problems on Nov. 20.
In each case, she was being billed for a balance on a medical bill. In each case, I checked and learned that she got the bill because Medicare failed to send the claim report to the client’s Medicare supplemental insurance company. The bills totaled $476.74.
You can’t blame an insurance company for not paying a bill that Medicare never reports to the insurance company.
I have done this work for over 16 years. Medicare’s failure to send claim reports to Medicare supplement insurance companies is the most frequent problem with Medicare. In past articles, I have explained my calculations for why I believe this one problem costs senior citizens on Medicare over $1 billion per year in false medical bills seniors are badgered to pay. It is like our federal government is mugging and robbing senior citizens throughout America.
I want this to stop. That is why I wrote a book to teach what I do to help senior citizens with medical bill problems. The book is SOLVING MEDICARE PROBLEM$. If you want to fight mistakes and fraud in the Medicare system and help senior citizens on Medicare to save money, get that book and start learning.
