On President’s Day, Feb. 17, I got a phone call from a client in Valparaiso. He told me that I had succeeded in getting an ambulance bill for over $600 cancelled for him. The exact amount was $611.95.
The ambulance run was on September 11, 2019. I reviewed the bill ad compared it with the Medicare ruling on the ambulance run. At first the ambulance run was denied. But from what I saw, I believed that the service documentation was wrong.
On Nov. 27, 2019, I helped the client to appeal the ruling. Because of the appeal, the initial ruling was reversed. The ambulance run was covered by Medicare.
Our client told me to tell the boss that I deserve a raise. YES!
All the help that I gave this client was free of charge. This insurance agency is proud of our reputation for “going the extra mile” to help our clients with Medicare related medical billing problems. If your insurance agency does not give this high level of customer service, why not switch to our insurance agency?
