Dear HealthLinc Patients,

For the past 24 years, HealthLinc has been proud to be a part of the northern Indiana communities. Our mission of expanding access to quality health care regardless of an individual’s ability to pay has been the guiding principle behind our every move. In these uncertain times, I want you to know that we remain focused on you!

Our clinics are open to care for you and your family. Should you need health care, do NOT hesitate to contact us. Your health is essential. We are using telemedicine, for both medical and behavioral health and scheduling in-office visits that are urgent and requires to meet in-person. These appointments are scheduled at designated times, where exposure is minimized. Our staff wears the required personal protective equipment at all times and the clinics are thoroughly cleaned each evening. Though we have postponed all routine dental and optometry appointments, we are still here for you in case of an emergency.

I would also like to encourage you to sign up for or request access to the HealthLinc Patient Portal to be able to access your patient records, request medication refills and message your provider from the safety of your home.

From our humble beginnings as a small free clinic in the Hilltop area of Valparaiso, we have grown to a proud federally qualified health center with eleven clinics, two telehealth clinics, a mobile medical/dental clinic and a corporate office across the region providing a vast array of healthcare services. But the role we play in our communities is much more than this!

For some of you, we are and will remain a bridge to other essential services. We are here to connect those in need to food pantries, shelters and transportation services. We can assist with finding health insurance and connecting you with legal services. We can provide support and education if facing serious obstacles such as opioid and substance use disorder. We are here to help.

Like so many others in health care, our team continues to work, regardless of the risk to their own personal safety because they know no other way. So that we can do our job, I ask each of you to practice good hygiene and follow the rules set forth by our public officials, including the Stay-At-Home Order banning all non-essential gatherings and non-essential travel. Please stay home except to meet essential needs until further notice. The choices you make and actions you take can save your life, the lives of your loved ones, and the lives of those in your community.

Now and when this is over, HealthLinc will continue to be here for you and our communities with the goal of making sure everyone has access to exceptional health care so they can enjoy a quality life!

I want to invite each of you to stand with us and be #HealthLincStrong!

Thank you and stay safe!
