Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute has recently welcomed a new chief executive officer, Dale Ingram, MBA. As Ingram joined the practice, he brought with him a 30-year background in health care practice administration. As a CEO with extensive experience in all aspects of the management of large, multisite medical group practices, Ingram is well-suited to lead the 11-office Northwest Indiana staple of Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute.

Prior to joining Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute, Ingram worked with OrthoVirginia in Richmond, where he was the practice’s first CEO and was responsible for a new, statewide organization. He oversaw the development of the infrastructure and centralization of corporate functions as well as establishing plans for continued expansion.

Before OrthoVirginia, Ingram spent 16 years in Columbus, Ohio, serving as the CEO of The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute and the co-CEO and chief operating officer at Orthopedic ONE. Here, he guided the practice through two additional mergers, two name changes and three practice acquisitions. In addition, Ingram oversaw the site selection, land acquisition and development of four construction projects, and his tenure saw significant growth in revenues for the practice.

I am very excited to be joining the team at Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute and the Lake, LaPorte, Porter and Starke county communities as a whole,” says Ingram. “With this excellent group of providers and dedicated medical staff, I see a very bright future for the practice and look forward to being a part of it.”

In addition to his extensive experience, Ingram is highly trained in health care administration and holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in this field. He received his graduate degree from Rutgers Graduate School of Management in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Ingram’s undergraduate alma mater is Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where he earned a double major Bachelor of Science degree in managerial economics and industrial administration.
