For over 25 years, NorthShore Health Centers has been dedicated to improving the overall health of the communities in Northwest Indiana. During these stressful times, we assure you that we are staying true to our mission and will continue to care for our patients and community for all your medical needs.

NorthShore is at the frontlines in this pandemic. By keeping our clinics open, we are able to assist in reducing patient overload at the local hospitals and keeping emergency rooms available to focus on those who may contract the Coronavirus.

We encourage you to let us be a resource for you. Our website and Facebook page links to accurate and up-to-date information about COVID-19 from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. If you have questions or concerns, we have set up a COVID-19 hotline where patients and the community can call for information or request a screening. Our Hotline number is (219) 962-9999 and can also be found on our website. NorthShore staff is also available to assist with insurance enrollment and provide social service information for those who are being impacted financially during this time.

NorthShore is continuing to provide affordable, quality healthcare through video or phone appointments with our providers for non-emergency primary care, behavioral health and substance abuse treatment. A telehealth appointment allows you to discuss your medical concerns with your provider over the phone or video conference without visiting the clinic in person.

During this tense time, we know that many people are feeling nervous, uneasy, overwhelmed or overly stressed. Self-care is important and our counselors are available to help talk through these feelings and help people cope with the additional stress that the COVID-19 pandemic is causing.

For those who still require an in-person appointment, NorthShore has made many changes to our in-clinic procedures in order provide extra protection and decrease the spread of infection. We are encouraging patients to follow pre-visit check-in from their personal devices and have also asked patients to wait in their vehicles to assist with social distancing. Our pharmacy will also text patients when their prescriptions are ready to avoid long lines in the pharmacy waiting area.

All of these changes are to ensure that our patients and staff stay safe. We are in this together and together we will get through it. If you need to schedule an in-person or telehealth appointment, please call our main number of 219-763-8112 or you can schedule online on our website at

Remember, we are here for you!
