Hobart church bringing summer movies to its lot
Want to go to the movies Saturday night but don’t want to pay a lot? Barrington Ridge Baptist Church is turning its parking lot into a drive-in this summer.
Now through Saturday, Aug. 15, Barrington Ridge Baptist, located at 97 Bracken Parkway (off Ind. 51 and across from St. Mary Medical Center), is presenting a free movie, open to the general public.
Social distancing will be observed. The parking lot opens at 7:30 p.m., with movies starting at dusk. Instead of those drive-in devices connected to vehicles, patrons will turn their vehicle radios on to 88.9 FM.
